The denotative meanings of the italicized words are:
(i) “Studying” - Engaging in the acquisition of knowledge
or preparation for exams.
(ii) “Interesting” - Arousing curiosity or capturing attention.
(iii) “Commitment” - Dedication or loyalty to a cause or
activity.
The connotative meanings are:
(i) “Studying” connotes diligence, responsibility, and
sometimes stress.
(ii) “Interesting” connotes genuine curiosity or excitement,
but in this context, it implies polite disinterest or
scepticism.
(iii) “Commitment” connotes determination, perseverance,
and sometimes sacrifice, but here it also suggests
appreciation for Sada’s choices and efforts
(c) Providing context-based connotations, namely neutral,
