            Teaching and learning steps

                1.  Use think-pair-share or any other techniques to enable
                   students to identify the determinants of good nutrition, which
                   are biological, economic, physical and social determinants.

                2.  Engage  students  in  interactive activities  such  as  group
                   discussions on the roles played by genetics, sex, metabolism
                   and physiological state on good nutrition.
                3.  Use gallery walk or any other techniques for students to
                   explore the contribution of environmental condition and
                   physical infrastructure on health.

                4.  Provide an interesting real-life scenario on the role played
                   by family income on good nutrition.
                5.  Use any interactive methods such as group discussion to
                   enable students to explore the impact of nutrition education,
                   health care services, social support networks and cultural
                   factors on good nutrition.
                6.  Task students in their subject clubs to discuss the impact of
                   poor nutrition in the society.

                7.  Task students to perform Activity 6.1 and Exercise 6.1. Mark
                   students’ works and provide feedback.
