6.3 Intra-household food distribution

          Teaching and learning steps

             1.  Use enquiry method to assess students’ prior knowledge on

                 intra-household food distribution.

             2.  Guide students to share their experience of how foods are
                 obtained and distributed within their families.
             3.  Guide students to discuss correct ways of distributing foods
                 within the families based on individual needs.
             4.  Guide students to search from the library or any other sources
                 of information on the factors influencing food distribution
                 at the household.

             5.  Engage students  in  collaborative  discussion  to  explore
                 strategies that can be applied to improve food distribution
                 within the household.
             6.  Encourage students to work collaboratively and fully engaged
                 in performing Activity 6.2.



                   Assign students to perform Revision exercise 6 from
                   the Student’s Book. Mark students’ works and provide
                   feedback.
