Chota: I know, innit? It’s like the sun is angry or somethin’. And ‘ave you
noticed ‘ow the seasons seem to be shiftin’? It’s like we’re gettin’ less
and less rain durin’ the rainy season, and then the dry season feels like it
                        lasts forever.

Chichi: Spot on! And it’s not just about the weather, you know. Global warmin’
is causin’ all sorts of problems for the environment. Like, ‘ave you ‘eard

‘ow the ice caps are meltin’ and the sea levels are risin’?
Chota: Yeah! And that’s not even the worst part. The effects of global warmin’
are ‘ittin’ us right ‘ere in Tanzania too. I mean, look at our farmers
strugglin’ with unpredictable weather patterns and crops failin’ because
                        of droughts or floods.

Chichi: It’s ‘eartbreakin’, really. And it’s not just about the environment either.
Global warmin’ is affectin’ people’s lives and livelihoods. Families are
losin’ their ‘omes to risin’ sea levels, and communities are facin’ food
                        shortages because of failed ‘arvests.

Chota: It’s a right crisis, no doubt about it. But you know what? We can’t just
sit back and do nothin’. We’ve gotta take action, even if it’s just small
steps like conservin’ energy, plantin’ trees, or spreadin’ awareness about
                        the issue.

Chichi: Absolutely! Every little bit counts. We may be just two students at
Chato ‘igh School, but together we can make a difference. Let’s start
by organizin’ a school-wide campaign to raise awareness about global
warmin’ and encourage our fellow students to take action.
Chota: That’s a top idea, Chichi! Let’s crack on. Together, we can ‘elp combat
the global warmin’ crisis and protect our planet for future generations.

Chichi: Let’s ‘ave it, Chota! We’ve got work to do.

                                                   Dialogue C

                        lately.
Chichi: For real! I mean, di rain dey used to come on time, but now e be like say
