            Performing approach for animation film
This is human performance in animation in which human body motion is captured
and simulated with physical effects using specific technology. The technology is
known as performance capture suit. In this approach, a performer is fitted with
specialised outfit known as “data suit” which directly record actor’s voice, facial
expressions, and body movements. A number of sensors can also be placed
in different points on the performer’s body so as to track their movement and
expressions through high resolution digital camera. The tracked movement
is relayed as information or data to a computer. The data is therefore used in
creating digital characters that resemble actors for animation movies. Figure 4.8
shows performers in data suit with their digitalised characters.
