(v) Emotional range: Actors should develop the ability to convincingly express
a wide range of emotions while on stage. They should practice accessing
different emotions and expressing them authentically.
(vi) Improvisation: Actors should develop improvisational skills to respond

to unexpected situations on stage. Improvisation exercises can help the
actor to think quickly and stay in character.
(vii) Focus and concentration: Actors should stay focused on the scene and their
fellow actors. They must avoid distractions and maintain concentration
to deliver a compelling performance.
(viii) Stage presence: Actors should develop a strong stage presence by
commanding attention and connecting with the audience. They need to use
body language and facial expressions to convey their characters’ emotions.
(ix) Rehearsal techniques: Actors are required to rehearse regularly to refine
their performance. They are supposed to experiment with different
approaches and techniques to find what works best for their character.
(x) Feedback and adaptation: The actors are expected to be open to feedback
from directors, fellow actors and audiences. They should use feedback to
improve their performance and adapt it as needed.
(xi) Listening skills: Actors should actively listen to their scene partners to
react authentically and build relationship on stage. They must pay attention
to cues and changes in dialogue or movement.
(xii) Character relationships: Actors are expected to develop effective
relationship with their scene partners to create believable relationships
on stage. They must explore the dynamics between characters to enhance
the realism of the performance.
(xiii) Energy and timing: Actors should maintain the energy of their performance
throughout the show. For presentation, actors pay attention to pacing and
timing to ensure that comedic moments land and dramatic scenes resonate.
(xiv) Resilience: Actors should embrace the unpredictability of live performance
and learn to adapt to mistakes or accidents. They must stay in character and
keep the performance moving forward, even in challenging circumstances.
(xv) Breathing techniques: Actors should practice breathing. Breathing exercises
support actors’ voice projection, intonation and they control their energy
levels on stage. Deep, diaphragmatic breathing can help them to be
grounded and focused during intense scenes.
