Props
A prop is something used as a support. These are physical objects or materials
held or used by actors in theatre performance, film, or television to enhance
the setting, provide contexts and make actions more realistic or aid the story to
move forward. Props can range from small handheld items to larger set pieces.

Props play a crucial role in creating a believable and immersive environment for
audiences. There are various types of props, including hand props, stage props
and historical props. Figures 6.8 and 6.9 below show hand and stage props that
are used by performers in their performances.
