                 their opinions.
vii. Acknowledge and validate contributions from students, even
                 when they are different.
viii. Ask the students to evaluate the information offered during the
                 discussion.
ix. Summarise the main ideas and thoughts shared during the
discussion or ask the students to reflect on how the discussion
enhanced their understanding of the topic.
           x. Evaluate the discussion by considering students’ involvement in
the discussion, the quality of their contribution and communication
skills. Give friendly corrective feedback that will offer suggestions
                 for improvement.

           C Think-Ink-Pair-Share method
The Think-Ink-Pair-Share (TIPS) teaching method engages students in
active learning and develops deeper comprehension through structured
collaboration. This method is accomplished in three phases, namely
brainstorming, writing and sharing. You need to create an environment
where students are free to participate and share their views. Explain
what everyone is expected to do and the expected outcomes. You may
observe the following steps when using the TIPS.
           i. Set a time limit for each stage to ensure efficiency and focus.
                 Then, begin the process.
ii Think: Pose a question, problem, or topic to your students and
give them a few minutes to individually brainstorm their views or
opinions about the topic. Prob students to think by asking them to
reflect on their experiences or things they encountered in the past.
iii Ink: Ask the students to write down their thoughts. After the
brainstorming session, instruct students to “ink” or write down
their thoughts, ideas, or solutions on paper or in notebooks.
