The two main parts of the Book of Genesis
The book of Genesis has two main parts. The first part covers Genesis 1-11. This part
presents the creation and expansion of the human race. The second part is the story of
the Patriarchs, the ancestors of Israel. This covers Genesis 11:10-50:26.
