Teaching steps

internet sources about kingdom Protoctista.
2. Guide students to discuss in groups selected phyla of kingdom
Protoctista, namely Rhizopoda, Zoomastigina, Apicomplexa,
Euglenophyta, Oomycota, and Chlorophyta. Check whether
students participate actively in group discussions then guide
them to present their group works.
3. Assign students to do Exercises 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7 from
Student’s Book. Mark the exercises and provide feedback.
4. Guide students to use internet sources to view simulations,
videos or images of Spirogyra Sp. Ask them to describe its
structure.
5. Guide students to do Activity 3.2 to observe the structure of
Spirogyra Sp. under a light microscope. Ask them to prepare a
summary of what they have observed.
6. Assign students to do Exercise 3.8 from Student’s Book. Mark
