Developing vocabulary among students is vital for their language
acquisition and overall academic success. Vocabulary forms the
building blocks of communication, enabling them to express their
thoughts, ideas, and emotions effectively. With a rich vocabulary,
they can comprehend academic texts, participate actively in class
discussions, and articulate their thoughts in written assignments
with clarity and precision. Beyond academic pursuits, an expanded
vocabulary equips them with the language skills necessary for social
interactions, cultural integration, and future career opportunities.

instruct them to choose five key terms from their descriptions
and list their synonyms. Ask them to complete the activities
               under Activity 2.1(a).
