Two Vocabulary development

Developing vocabulary among students is vital for their language
acquisition and overall academic success. Vocabulary forms the
building blocks of communication, enabling them to express their
thoughts, ideas, and emotions effectively. With a rich vocabulary,
they can comprehend academic texts, participate actively in class
discussions, and articulate their thoughts in written assignments
with clarity and precision. Beyond academic pursuits, an expanded
vocabulary equips them with the language skills necessary for social
interactions, cultural integration, and future career opportunities.
Activity 2.1 Writing unfamiliar and complex vocabulary
from oral texts
Use the activities in the Student’s Book to guide the students through:
(a) Studying the pictures and orally describing the actions the
children are doing. This activity focuses on building vocabulary
from games and activities performed by children. To teach
this activity, you may instruct the students to sit in pairs and
describe what are the children in the pictures doing. Then,
instruct them to choose five key terms from their descriptions
and list their synonyms. Ask them to complete the activities
under Activity 2.1(a).
(b) Acting out the dialogue. Use the steps for acting out the dialogue
provided in the introduction section of this guide. Then, instruct
