Other speech transition techniques include:
(i) Chronological transitions: “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Lastly.”
(ii) Comparative transitions: “Similarly,” “Likewise,” “In
comparison.”
(iii) Contrastive transitions: “However,” “On the other hand,”
“Nevertheless.”
(iv) Causal transitions: “Because,” “As a result,” “Therefore.”
(v) Sequential transitions: “Afterward,” “Next,” “Then.”
(g) Conducting a non-spontaneous interview about any cross-cutting
issue. Ask them to present their findings in the class. Lead a
discussion and clear any queries.
