him, and in an emergency meeting impeached him. They had also

detained him, accusing him of rebellion. Local media reports say
he was heading to the Mexican embassy in the capital when he
was arrested. Following Mr Castillo’s removal, the 60-year-old
Boluarte assumed the presidency of her country. She announced
that she would govern until July 2026, which is the time Castillo’s
presidency would have ended. In her inaugural address, she
called for political peace and stability in the challenges facing her
country. “What I ask for is time and space to save the country,”
she stated. Boluarte now joins a list of female presidents, and we
will highlight them in the story.

           2. Pidgin English and British English have various linguistic
           characteristics that set them apart.

Grammar: Pidgin English usually has less complex grammar in
comparison to British English. This could involve not having to
change verbs for different tenses or people, using simpler sentence
           structures, and lacking grammatical agreement.

Pronunciation: The pronunciation of Pidgin English is shaped
by the phonetic aspects of the indigenous languages used in the
area. This can lead to variations in vowel and consonant sounds
in contrast to Standard British English.
