          (e) Conduct  a  debate  and  present  supporting  arguments,  responding  to
              counterarguments, and engaging in rebuttals in one of the following topics.


             1.  In legal settings, interpreters should maintain strict impartiality and refrain from
                 advocating for defendants or plaintiffs.
             2.  Interpreters  should  prioritise  accuracy  in  translation  over  maintaining  the
                 confidentiality of sensitive information disclosed by the client.
             3.  Interpreters should breach confidentiality and report information that poses a
                 risk of harm to others even if it was disclosed in confidence during interpretation.
             4.  Interpreters should prioritise cultural sensitivity over strict adherence to literal
                 interpretation when conveying messages between parties from different cultural
                 backgrounds.

          (f)  With guidance from  the teacher, invite or  visit experienced  interpreters from
              different backgrounds or specialties.
             1.  Prepare questions in advance and actively participate in the discussion with the
                 guest speakers or panelists.
             2.  Inquire about real-life experiences, ethical challenges faced by interpreters and
                 strategies for navigating ethical dilemmas in the field.
