                                      workshops, and webinars to stay updated on the latest

             Activity 6.2        Applying spoken English techniques in spontaneous and
                               non-spontaneous conversations

          (a) Respond to one of the three scenarios below.
                 1.  As a local resident of the city, you have come upon a lost tourist who is
                    asking for directions. Give him/her clear and helpful instructions to assist
                    him/her find the way.
                 2.  You are at a local bustling market in a certain village. Take part in a bargaining
                    exercise where one participant acts as a local vendor selling goods and the
                    other participant acts as a tourist looking to purchase items.
                 3.  You lost your mom’s money and she scolded you for that. Respond to your
                    mom politely and spontaneously.
