all animals. It would walk on its belly and would eat dust all the days of its life. And the
Lord put enmity between the serpent and the woman: The enmity will be also between
the serpent’s offspring and the woman’s seed. Moreover, the offspring of the woman
will crush its head and the serpent will bruise his heel. Figure 3.2 is a portrayal of
the serpernt.

As a punishment for the woman (Genesis 3:16), the Lord said: He would increase her
pain in child bearing. She shall always desire for her husband and shall be submissive
to her husband. Figure 3.3 is a portrayal of the woman.
