14. Choose a character from a play you have read. Describe how this
character evolves throughout the text. What key events trigger changes in
their behaviours, beliefs, or outlook? Provide textual evidence to support
your points.
15. Imagine a conversation between an antagonist of a play you like most
and you as a character in that play who challenges the antagonist’s
perspective. Write a dialogue between you and the antagonist, pretending
as if the antagonist has changed his/her beliefs.
16. Read a short play and identify its central theme. Then, write an essay
to explain the way the playwright uses characters, setting, or conflict to
develop this theme. Write a paragraph summarising your findings.
