The passage in Standard British English
In many areas, girls still face numerous challenges when they attempt
to attend school. They may be prevented from pursuing education due
to poverty or because of the belief that girls do not require schooling.
Some individuals continue to adhere to outdated notions that only
boys should receive a thorough education. However, we must alter
this mindset and afford girls the opportunity to receive an education.
Education is a key that can unlock a brighter future for everyone, and
girls are an integral part of society that requires this opportunity. If we
can support and encourage girls to pursue education, they can become
empowered, self-sufficient women who are capable of making positive
contributions to Africa.
