comfort zone that consequently exposes them to new challenges, new risks,
and new techniques. Therefore, creative individuals find new ways of solving
problems. Because of their commitment to work and readiness to take risks, they
usually achieve high-level performance in their assigned tasks. Likewise, creative

            Language
Language is a set of signs that convey meaning. Signs that represent language
should be accepted and understood by the entire community. There are two types
of signs in any language. These are iconic and arbitrary. Iconic means the word has
inherent connection with meaning it portrays and arbitrary means that the word
has no connection with meaning it portrays. Scientific investigation indicates that
human beings are only species on earth possessing ability to communicate using
specific language. This is because they have inborn language capacity which
surpass that of other species. The power language has to people’s lives is very
significant. It includes facilitating development, conducting debates and uniting
people. People should know that if language is not used appropriately, it may
cause conflicts. Therefore, the creative use of language lesson is necessary to all
theatre artists since they commonly use language to communicate the message to
the audience. Theatre artists need to note that people can use language to judge
not only their stage performances but also their level of education, their socio-
economic status, culture and individual behaviour. This is why it is important to
gain skills pertaining to how language can be used creatively and specifically
in the artists’ creative works which include dance, storytelling, recitation, film,
            radio and stage plays.
