           Using ICT to search for academic information
           Teaching procedures
           1.  Guide students through brainstorming the meaning and importance
               of ICT in life.
           2.  Ask them to share their experiences in using electronic gadgets and
               accessing academic information.
           3.  Guide them through reading the information about the use of ICT
               provided in the Student’s Book.
           4.  Allow them to ask questions.
           5.  Use their questions to extend a discussion by encouraging students
               to respond to the questions asked.


                  Activity 4�1 in the Student’s Book
             (a)  Organise students in manageable groups.
             (b)  Introduce the activity and inform them that it is meant to find
                  out their background experience with using ICT to search for
                  academic information.
             (c)  Provide students with electronic gadgets for online search and
                  study about the importance of ICT in education.
             (d)  Guide students through searching the information from the
                  selected source.
             (e)  Ask students to note down specific information, discuss and
                  write notes.
