Exercise 3�3 in the Student’s Book
(a) Guide students in groups through thinking and sharing about
any meetings they have attended. Specifically, they should
do the following:
i. Each group member should be encouraged to mention
different procedures followed in conducting the meetings
they attended.
ii. They should explain whether those meetings were formal
or informal.
(b) Ask each group to present the work to the class for knowledge
sharing.
(c) Allow students to ask questions about the importance of
informal meetings. Use their questions for class discussion.
Activity 3�3 in the Student’s Book
(a) Instruct students to use online sources to do the following:
i. Watch a simulated meeting session.
ii. Write notes on the aspects given in the Student’s
Book (chairing of the meeting, agenda of the meeting,
participation, opening of the meeting, recording of
proceedings and closing ot the meeting).
(b) In pairs, students exchange their notes.
(c) Randomly select some pairs to present partner’s works for
discussion and knowledge exchange.
(d) Allow further discussion, questions and answers from students.
(e) Check for correctness of information and where needed provide
clarification.

(a) Ask students in groups to conduct a role play simulating a
classroom meeting and discussing matters that affect their
