                         Two

                     Introduction

We frequently experience a natural reaction when listening to music. Rhythm
has a significant impact on how music and body movements are connected.
In this chapter, you will learn the concept of rhythm, musical notes and
rests, musical bars and bar lines, time signatures and how to compose

simple rhythms. The competencies developed will enable you to read, play
                  and compose simple rhythms.

To understand more on the concept of rhythm, you will learn about musical notes
