                 use small group discussions, pair works and other methods to
                 accomplish these activities.

             (g) Preparing a 10–15-minute speech to address their class on
                 any of the given themes:
             (h) Listening to speeches from others and analysing what makes
                 them complex. Instruct them to compare the complexity of the
                 speeches they have listened to with the ones that they have
                 prepared; then, they should share their observations with you
                 and your fellow for discussion and improvements.
             (i)  Watching a video or collection of pictures of Tanzania’s national
                 parks. Then, instruct each student to describe their beauty
                 orally the beauty of the national parks and their contribution
                 to tourism and national development. Guide them also through
                 exploring the opportunities offered by them and explaining
                 how the current generation should use them sustainably.
             (j)  Listening to the speeches in three of the provided contexts and
                 describing the use of prosodic features and grammar in each
                 speech. You may instruct students to work in group work or
                 pairs.



             Activity 7.2     Writing an investigative report

          Use the activities in the Student’s Book to guide the students through:

          (a)  Identifying any burning academic or disciplinary issue that needs
              a thorough investigation. Then, guide them through accomplishing
