Introduction
Translation is the process of converting written information, data, and content
from a source language to a target language while maintaining accuracy and the
intended meaning for the audience. In this chapter, you will translate simple, short,
authentic texts between English and Kiswahili. The competencies developed will
enable you to provide translation services in different settings or situations locally
and globally.
